Bunch of dummies.

So I'll admit that there are several times at work when my entire job is to watch over a parking lot of work trucks or keep an eye on the producer's car. Demeaning?...slightly. So in order to keep from losing my mind I occupy myself with taking pictures of people who don't know how to park. I think it's important to highlight the slightly less able-minded that walk among us every once in a while in order for the rest of us to realize just how impeccably brilliant we are. If you can park your car between two lines there is no need for any type of IQ test, consider yourself a genius....in my books anyways, and we all know that those are the only books that count. The VERY best part about this whole project is that these are usually the people I work for. Awesome.

Good day my friends,

Just waking up on a sunny Sunday morning on the West End of Vancouver. Feels like a great morning because I can finally take a breather and have a day off. I have been just slaving away over here putting in minimum 15 hour days and working up to 22 hours then doing it all again the next day. Just have to train my body to get used to it and I'll be juuuuusst fine.

During the week I've mostly been working on Union shows, chipping away at my 30 days of "helper" Production Assistant days in order to take my Log Book Holder Exam and become a Permittee member of the Director's Guild of Canada. Once in, I will have an additional amount of days to work in order to be a part of the Guild. But there is LOTS of work and it's nice to have a pathway to work down and not just be going in to work every day with no real goals or motivation.

I've been working mostly on Hellcats, a CW show about cheerleaders and a new AMC show airing in March called The Killing. Keep an eye out for them.
