Over the Family Day long weekend Joel was in town for a visit, supposedly to see me but I think it may have had something to do with the 200cm of powder Whistler got that week. Hopped the old Snobus to the mountain for three days and two nights for a much needed vacation. And by much needed I mean I had just gotten into the swing of work and I just really wanted to go so....just relax about that.
It really was just an obscene amount of powder at the top of the mountain and cripes, learning to ride in "we make our own snow" Buffalo did not prepare me for such conditions. Spent most of my time digging myself out of "amy-size" holes but I couldn't help but notice the excitement of pretty much every other person on the mountain as they flew by me and I ate their dust. Okay I get it! You like the powder. When do we get to go to the bar?
After recuperating overnight I was able to get myself back on the hill for an afternoon of filming with Joel and his friend Dan. THAT I can do. And this is what you get. Thanks for watching.
